Roy & Bagchi is a reputed Chartered Accountants firm, and was established as a partnership firm, way back in 1942, by Shri.B.P. Roy & Shri. Hironmoy Bagchi, who were leading Chartered Accountants in their time. At that time, the firm was classified as a firm of ‘Registered Auditors’ since the Chartered Accountants Act was yet to be passed.
Shri. Roy was an expert in Company law matters and later joined the Government of India service as Registrar of Companies and Secretary to the MRTP Act from where he retired. Shri. Bagchi was respected as being very knowledgeable in Income Tax matters.
We are a team of 7 partners and professionals consisting of Chartered Accountants, Information System Auditors, Certified Public Accountant (USA), Company Secretaries, and Cost Accountants, who are well experienced in audit of Banks, Financial Institutions, Public and Private Sector Undertakings.
